Joel Crawford (15 June 1783-5 April 1858) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-GA AL) from 4 March 1817 to 3 March 1821, succeeding Bolling Hall and preceding George Rockingham Gilmer.

Biography[]

Joel Crawford was born in Columbia County, Georgia, and he practiced law in Sparta and Milledgeville. He served under John Floyd during the Creek War before serving in the state house from 1814 to 1817, in the US House of Representatives from 1817 to 1821, and in the state senate from 1827 to 1828, and he died in 1858.
