Joe "Old Man" Waggoner (February 9, 1894 - April 24, 1945) was a US Army captain who commanded a company in the 66th Armored Regiment, 2nd Armored Division during World War II.

Joe Waggoner served in the US 2nd Armored Division with the rank of captain, commanding a company during the Central Europe Campaign of 1945. He was responsible for leading American forces during the fighting around Emmerthal in 1945, including the Battle of Kirchohsen, during which Don Collier's armored platoon supported Waggoner's infantry.
