DiLeo after being shot
In 2008, DiLeo, Luca Silvestri, and Johnny Barbosa were sent by Ray Boccino to dress up as trash collectors and collect several garbage bags filled with stolen diamonds. They performed this task together with Niko Bellic, and Silvestri began to plot against Bellic; he figured that the mobsters could steal and sell the diamonds and divide the money amongst themselves, while they would blame the theft on Bellic. However, Boccino trusted Niko, and Niko Bellic chased the mobsters from their Battery Park hideout to Central Park. There, the mobsters engaged in a shootout with Bellic, who killed all of the mobsters.
