
Job Pierson (23 September 1791-9 April 1860) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-NY 9) from 4 March 1831 to 3 March 1835, succeeding John Dean Dickinson and preceding Hiram P. Hunt. Born in East Hampton, he practiced law before serving as a district attorney from 1824 to 1833, in Congress, and as Rensselaer County surrogate from 1835 to 1840.
