
Job Durfee (20 September 1790-26 July 1847) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-RI AL) from 4 March 1821 to 3 March 1825, succeeding Nathaniel Hazard and preceding Dutee Jerauld Pearce. Born in Tiverton, he practiced law before serving in the state house from 1816 to 1820, in Congress from 1821 to 1825, and as Chief Justice of the Rhode Island Supreme Court from 1835 to 1847, when he died.
