Jibou Kargbo (1715 - 1809) was a Guinean slave who joined the Maroons during the Maroon Rebellion of the 1730s. Kargbo was enslaved by France and was transported to the Americas aboard the slave ship Saint Agapite, but the slave ship was attacked by the Maroon ship Experto Crede off Saint-Domingue. Kargbo was one of the 98 of 100 slaves aboard to be freed by Adewale and his crew, and he decided to join the Maroons.
