Jiangsu is a coastal province of China, with Nanjing serving as its capital. Jiangsu is home to the major cities of Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, and (until 1927) Shanghai, and the Yangtze River passes through the southern part of the province. Jiangsu borders Shandong to the north, Anhui to the west, and Zhejiang and Shanghai to the south. In 2015, Jiangsu had a population of 79,800,000 people, with 99.6% being Han Chinese and .2% Hui.
