Jessica Anderson was a Republican political activist and the Executive Director of Heritage Action for America. She served as Heritage's North Carolina state director in 2011 before serving as its deputy political director from 2011 to 2013, as grassroots director from 2013 to 2017, as Associate Director of the Office of Management and Budget from February 2017 to June 2018, Vice President of Heritage from July 2018 to April 2020, and Executive Director from April 2020. On 17 May 2021, CNN primetime host Chris Cuomo's team independently obtained a video of Anderson bragging about her and her team ghostwriting several voting restriction laws in states such as Florida and Georgia, as well as preparing model legislation to present to the Republican state legislatures with a "grassroots vibe".
