Jerry Basile (1961—) is an Italian-American mobster in the Lupertazzi crime family, holding the rank of capo.
Biography[]
Basile was born to an Italian-American in Long Island in 1961, and got affiliated with the Lupertazzi crime family, rising through the ranks until becoming a capo, with a crew based in Freeport. In 2004, when a power struggle following the death of previous boss Carmine Lupertazzi Sr. put underboss Johnny Sacrimoni and caporegime Carmine Lupertazzi Jr. face to face, Basile visited Lupertazzi's residence in Long Island, only to be interrupted when Lupertazzi's newly refurbished boat was holed and sunk by Sacrimoni's men. During the conflict, Basile was the only capo to maintain his position and standing within the family.
