Jean de Fremiet (1771-March 1791) was a French nobleman at the time of the French Revolution. Fremiet was the son of the Duchesse de Fremiet, and he was lynched from a lamppost at the Place de Greve by a mob of angry revolutionaries simply for being among the nobility. His mother managed to retrieve a necklace from his neck, and Arno Dorian protected her from angry Sans-culottes as she headed to a church to give his necklace a funeral.
