Jean L. Esley (died 1874) was an American outlaw of the Wild West. In 1874, he and several other of Slim Taggart's henchmen were sent to destroy the town of Rock Ridge, Wyoming to clear the way for the construction of Attorney General Hedley Lamarr's railroad, but they were killed when the Waco Kid shot dynamite stashed in the replica town which they had ridden into.
