The Javanese are an ethnic group native to the island of Java in the country of Indonesia. With 100,000,000+ people, they are the largest ethnic group in the country, and despite being overwhelmingly Sunni Muslim, the culture of Java has been heavily-influenced by Hinduism and Buddhism in history, culture, traditions, and art.
