Jared Taylor (born 15 September 1951) was an American white nationalist author and the founder of American Renaissance.
Biography[]
Jared Taylor was born in Kobe, Japan in 1951 to Christian missionary parents. He lived in Japan until the age of 16 and became fluent in Japanese in the process, and he went on to become a journalist back in the United States. In 1990, he founded American Renaissance, a white supremacist newspaper and website. Taylor, unlike the Ku Klux Klan, was not a violent man, and he believed in the peaceful secession of an all-white nation to prevent whites from becoming a minority in the United States, which was predicted to be mostly made up of minorities by 2043. Taylor believed that while Spaniards were Europeans, Hispanics from Central and South America were genetically and visually different from Europeans. Taylor also argued that Jews were a subrace of whites, and that Eastern European Jews from the shtetls dressed and thought in "weird" ways and did not identify as whites. In 2016, he recorded robocalls to support Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump during the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries, supporting his white nationalist agenda.
