The Jaoming Triad was the most powerful Triad organization in New York City during the early 21st century, led by Hsin Jaoming. The triad was involved with drug trafficking and arms smuggling in New York, and it allied with the Messina crime family, Lee Triad, Ming Triad, Wonsu Nodong, and the Angels of Death gangs against the Irish Mob. In 2009, Huang Lee took over the gang after the murders of competitors Wu Lee, Zhou Ming, and Chan Jaoming and Hsin's incarceration, and the Jaoming and Lee triads became one united organization that controlled all Chinese-American crime in New York.
