James "Murmur" Zancone (born 10 May 1969) was a professional document forger and DiMeo crime family associate.

James Zancone was born in New York on May 10th 1969 to a family of Italian descent. He obtained the nickname Murmur from a childhood heart condition.
Zancone battled with alcoholism and was an Alcoholic's Anonymous sponsor. Through hosting AA meetings, Zancone became acquainted with DiMeo family caporegime Christopher Moltisanti in 2005 and soon proved valuable to the organization for his skills at falsifying records.
