
James Wheelock Ripley (12 March 1786-17 June 1835) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-ME 5) from 11 September 1826 to 12 March 1830, succeeding Enoch Lincoln and preceding Cornelius Holland. Born in Hanover, New Hampshire, he practiced law in Fryeburg, Maine before serving in the War of 1812 and in Congress.
