
James S. Stevenson (1780-16 October 1831) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-PA 16) from 4 March 1825 to 3 March 1829, succeeding Walter Forward and James Allison Jr. and preceding William Wilkins and John Gilmore. Born in York County, he practiced law before serving in the state house from 1822 to 1823 and in Congress.
