James Roselli (2 September 1926-18 December 1988) was a US Army Private First Class who served in the US 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment during World War II.
Biography[]
James Roselli was born in San Diego, California on 2 September 1926 to a family of Italian descent. Roselli enlisted in the US Army during World War II and was assigned to the US 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment, becoming a replacement soldier in Sergeant Joseph Hartsock's assault team in England in time for Operation Market Garden. He survived the brutal fighting at Son and Eindhoven, and he would die in 1988 at the age of 62.
