James III of Cyprus (6 July 1473-26 August 1474) was King of Cyprus from 10 July 1473 to 26 August 1474. The son of King James II of Cyprus and Catherine Cornaro, he died under mysterious circumstances as an infant, and his Venetian mother sold Cyprus to her homeland, the Republic of Venice, in 1488.
