James Farrington (1 October 1791-29 October 1859) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-NH AL) from 4 March 1837 to 3 March 1839, succeeding Robert Burns and preceding Edmund Burke.

Biography[]

James Farrington was born in Conway, New Hampshire in 1791, and he practiced medicine in Rochester before serving in the State House from 1828 to 1831, in the State Senate from 1836 to 1837, and in the US House of Representatives from 1837 to 1839. He died in 1859.
