Jalal Yusufzai (1965-1986) was a leader of the Mujahideen during the Soviet-Afghan War.
Biography[]
Yusufzai was born in Konar Province of Afghanistan in 1965, and in 1980, at the age of fifteen, he joined the Mujahideen. He quickly rose through the leadership of the Mujahideen, climbing the ranks to become the leader of 30 men. In 1986 he fought in the Battle of Khost, during which he was killed by artillery fire from the Soviet Union's army.
