Jacopo Callistano (1447-1503) was a nobleman of the Republic of Venice.
Biography[]
Jacopo Callistano was a nobleman of the Republic of Venice, making his money through maritime trade with the Barbary States and the County of Forli. Callistano became very wealthy through this trade, and used this money to buy out fellow nobles among the council that ruled Venice under the Doge. Callistano was taken advantage of by the Borgia, who gave him money to bribe other nobles into joining the Templars.
In 1503, Callistano was assassinated in Venice by the Assassin Order for his corruption.
