Jacobo de Martino (1091-1126) was a Venetian assassin.
Biography[]
Martino was born in Jerusalem to a Venetian family that immigrated after the First Crusade, and he became a member of the Assassins in 1126. After extensive training with knives and hidden blades, Martino became a Master Assassin who was skilled in the art of assassinations. Martino became a trusted member of the Assassins Order, and was put out onto the field. He was dispatched to slay brigand leader Saladin of Al Minya, who was a secret member of the Knights Templar. He left Jerusalem to find Saladin's army just to the east of the city.

nd made sure to silently get rid of some guards who were outside of the walls. He climbed the walls and stood on the ramparts, waiting to get rid of Saladin. However, when he looked down, he was noticed by some guards. He attempted to flee but was cornered and stabbed in the chest by one of the guards of Saladin. Martino's death was a blow to the Assassin Order and the Venetians.
