Jacob Spangler (28 November 1767-17 June 1843) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-PA 4) from 4 March 1817 to 20 April 1818, succeeding Hugh Glasgow and preceding Jacob Hostetter.

Biography[]

Jacob Spangler was born in York, Pennsylvania in 1767, and he served as postmaster from 1795 to 1812 and in other local offices before serving in the US House of Representatives from 1817 to 1818 and suerveyor general of Pennsylvania from 1830 to 1836. He died in 1843.
