
Jacqueline R. "Jackie" Walorski (13 August 1963-3 August 2022) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-IN 2) from 3 January 2013 to 3 August 2022, succeeding Joe Donnelly and preceding Rudy Yakym.
Biography[]
Jackie Walorski was born in South Bend, Indiana in 1963, and she worked as a reporter for WSBT-TV before serving as executive director of the St. Joseph County Humane Society from 1989 to 1991, director of institutional advancement at Ancilla College from 1991 to 1996, Director of Membership at the St. Joseph County Chhamber of Commerce in 1996, and founder of Impact International (a foundation to provide medical supplies and attention to impoverished children in Romania, where she served as a Pentecostal missionary). From 2005 to 2010, she served in the State House of Representatives, and she was elected to the US House of Representatives in 2012. She held typical conservative views, and she supported Trumpist attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results. She died in a car crash near Nappanee, Indiana in 2022.
