Jack Hermosilla (born 1984) was a British weapons analyst who lived in London during the 2020s.
Biography[]
Jack Hermosilla was born in London, England in 1984 to a family of Spanish descent. He was a student council president, donated to an animal shelter, was cited for drunk and disorderly behavior at Battersea Park, was a Cigar of the Month Club member, was the lover of Brittany Etim, stole a police laptop, and believed that DedSec was a force for good.
In 2020, he worked with smugglers from Clan Kelley and smuggled wine, cheese, and caviar before falling out with the clan over its escalating underworld activities such as arms dealing. He was approached by DedSec operative Veronica O'Leary at The Earl's Fortune pub, where he convinced her to help him prevent an arms deal from happening as a means of helping him escape from the racket. O'Leary went to the arms deal at Spitalfields Market, crashing it and destroying the shipment after a massive shootout. Hermosilla then agreed to join the Resistance in gratitude. He then helped to recruit Caroline Buckingham, who told him that her entire division of 300 skilled tech workers had recently been fired, and she asked him to investigate her replacement. He infiltrated the Civil Aviation Traffic Office after several entry attempts, and he was forced to shoot two Albion guards dead and destroy three drones when he entered the server room and stole the data. He then discovered that Buckingham and the 300 other employees had been replaced by an AI, so he had the AI Bagley mark tha AI's location on his map so that he could destroy the prototype. Hermosilla then travelled to the Barbican centre to destroy the AI, which was under heavy guard. He used a spider bot to take down Jim Saha and Vira Lek stealthily, and he shot the AI machine with his handgun before fleeing and reaching out to Buckingham, who agreed to join DedSec in gratitude.
