Jack Grogan (died 1759) was an Anglo-Irish soldier who served as a captain in the British Army's Gale's Regiment of Foot during the Seven Years' War. A family friend of Redmond Barry, he served as Barry's second during his 1759 duel with Captain John Quin, only to later inform Barry that Quin had faked his death in order to implicate Barry in murder and take Barry's cousin and love interest Nora Brady for himself. After Barry was robbed by highwaymen on the way to Dublin, Barry joined Grogan's regiment and served in Germany. Grogan was killed at the Battle of Minden, causing Barry to desert.
