J. Homer Radcliffe was an American lawyer and saloon owner who lived in Tombstone, Arizona during the Wild West era. In August 1881, Sheriff Clay Hollister confronted Radcliffe about letting Curly Bill Brocius and his gang wreak havoc in town from his "Crystal Palace" saloon, as well as for not paying taxes. Later, Radcliffe demanded that Hollister collect taxes from Brocius' gang in Galeyville or resign, threatening him with legal action if he did not do his job by risking his life to try and tax outlaws. Radcliffe privately wanted Hollister dead so that he could get his own man appointed sheriff, hence his hypocrisy in demanding that Hollister do a better job at collecting taxes. On 2 November 1881, he and Mayor Fred Donolon called on deputy Charlie Riggs to resign after his shooting of Tully Brewster in self-defense led to Tully's father Sam Brewster threatening vengeance upon the town.
