
Ivo Miro Jovic (15 July 1950-) was President of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 28 June 2005 to 28 February 2006, succeeding Borislav Paravac and preceding Sulejman Tihic.
Biography[]
Ivo Miro Jovic was born in Capljina, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia in 1950. He worked as a history teacher before entering politics in 1997 as an HDZ BiH politician, and he was elected to the House of Representatives in 2002. From 2005 to 2006, he served as President of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but he was defeated for re-election that same year.
