Israel George Lash (18 August 1810-1 April 1878) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-NC 5) from 20 July 1868 to 3 March 1871, preceding James Madison Leach.
Biography[]
Israel George Lash was born in Bethania, North Carolina in 1810, and he became a cigar manufacturer and banker in Salem before serving in the US House of Representatives from 1868 to 1871. He died in 1878.
