Islam I Giray (died 1537) was Khan of Crimea in 1532, succeeding Saadet I Giray and preceding Sahib I Giray. A son of Mehmed I Giray and the brother of Gazi I Giray, he lived in exile among the Nogai Horde and thrice revolted against his usurper uncle Saadet (who had killed Gazi). He seized the throne on his uncle's abdication in 1532, but the Ottoman Turks made his uncle Sahib I Giray khan five months later. Islam revolted for a third time in 1534, with Perekop serving as his stronghold. In 1537, he fled to the Nogais and was frozen to death in a barrel of water by Baki-Beg, a mirza allied to Sahib.
