Isaac of Itil

Isaac of Itil (1045-) was the leader of the Chiefdom of Itil.

Biography

Isaac Doganin was born in 1045 to a Jewish Khazar family. Isaac Doganin became the chief of the Chiefdom of Itil in present-day Astrakhan Oblast, Russia. Isaac Doganin led Itil while he was in his early twenties.
