
Isaac Wilbour (25 April 1763 – 4 October 1837) was Governor of Rhode Island from 7 May 1806 to 6 May 1807 (succeeding Henry Smith and preceding James Fenner) and a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-RI) from 4 March 1807 to 3 March 1809 (succeeding Joseph Stanton Jr. and preceding Elisha Reynolds Potter).
Biography[]
Isaac Wilbour was born in Little Compton, Rhode Island in 1763, and he served in the state legislature from 1805 to 1806, as Governor from 1806 to 1807, as a member of the US House of Representatives from 1807 to 1809, Lieutenant Governor from 1810 to 1811, and an associate justice of the Supreme Court of Rhode Island from 1818 to 1827. He died in 1837.
