
Isaac Halstead Williamson (27 September 1767-10 July 1844) was the Federalist Governor of New Jersey from 6 February 1817 to 30 October 1829, succeeding Mahlon Dickerson and preceding Peter Dumont Vroom.
Biography[]
Isaac Halstead Williamson was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1767, and he practiced law before serving as Governor from 1817 to 1829 and as Mayor of Elizabeth from 1830 to 1833. He died in 1844.
