Isaac Bloom (1748-26 April 1803) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-NY 6) from 4 March to 26 April 1803, succeeding John Peter Van Ness and preceding Daniel C. Verplanck.

Biography[]

Isaac Bloom was born in Jamaica, Queens County, New York in 1748, and he later moved to Clinton, Dutchess County and served as a militia captain during the American Revolutionary War. Bloom went on to serve in the State Assembly from 1788 to 1792, in the State Senate from 1800 to 1802, and in the US House of Representatives in 1803, dying just a month after taking office.
