Isa Sirri (1775-early October 1805) was a general of the Ottoman Empire who fought and died in the Russo-Turkish War of 1805.
Biography[]
Isa Sirri was born in Syria, then a province of the Ottoman Empire, in 1775, and became a general of the Ottoman Army during the Russo-Turkish War of 1805. Sirri and his army teamed up with general Sinan Baghdadi to destroy Fyodor Fyodorovich Buxhoewden's Russian army in the Siege of Burgas in October 1805, but the two Ottoman generals were killed in the defeat of their armies.
