Irma Londono

Irma Londono (died 1981) was a Medellin Cartel drug mule. In 1981, the pregnant Londono bypassed United States customs agents due to her pregnancy, but she collapsed after leaving her flight from Colombia to Miami. She was taken to the emergency room, where it was found that she had body-bagged eleven ounces of cocaine. Londono died of an overdose, and her baby died in the arms of Connie Murphy, a nurse and the wife of DEA agent Steve Murphy (who had killed a 17-year-old Colombian drug smuggler, Cristian Zegarra, the same day).
