INLA

The Irish National Liberation Army (INLA) was a Marxist-Leninist Irish republican paramilitary group that was founded in December 1974 as the military wing of the Irish Republican Socialist Party. The INLA's goal was to remove Northern Ireland from the United Kingdom and unify Ireland as a workers' republic. The INLA was responsible for attacks such as the Droppin Well bombing and the assassinations of Airey Neave and Billy Wright. In 1998, it agreed to the Good Friday Agreement, and it officially ended its armed campaign in 2009.
