The Irish Freedom Party is a far-right political party in Ireland which was founded on 8 September 2018. The party was launched at an event attended by 400 Eurosceptics, and its founder Hermann Kelly was associated with the broader alt-right movement. The party supported reduced government spending, lower taxes, freedom of speech and association, opposed the carbon tax, supported leaving the European Union, supported the reunification of Ireland and Northern Ireland with the consent of the United Kingdom, advocated "zero tolerance" for corruption and "separation of powers" in the state, fought against mandatory vaccinations and vaccination certificates, called climate change "hyper alarmism", and won just .3% of the vote at the 2020 general election.
