Ippolito di Foligno (died 1503) was a captain in the Papal Army during the rule of the House of Borgia.
Biography[]
Serving under Pope Alexander VI by commanding a guard tower in the city of Rome, Foligno was based in the Antico District near an aqueduct. In 1503 his tower was assaulted by Assassins Ezio Auditore da Firenze, Primo Penna, and Vittorio Vitelli. The latter two were killed, and Ezio was severely injured in the first attempt to capture the tower.
Death[]
Just after the first attempt, a recovered Ezio returned and killed many of the guards. He proceeded to kill Ippolito at the top of the tower with his hidden blades and ignited the barrels, blowing up the tower and liberating the zone.
