Indulf

Indulf (897-962) was King of Scotland from 953 to 962, succeeding Malcolm I of Scotland and preceding Dub of Scotland.

Biography[]

Indulf was born in Scotland in 897, the son of King Constantine II of Scotland and a daughter of Earl Eadulf I of Bernicia. He succeeded his cousin Malcolm I of Scotland in 953, and he oversaw the conquest of Edinburgh and Lothian from the Anglo-Saxons of Northumbria. Indulf was slain in battle with the Vikings at the Battle of Bauds in 962.
