Biography[]
Ildefonso Martello was a public official of the Republic of Venice, and he was in league with the Templar Order. He was paid money to bear false witness to crimes committed by Ezio Auditore da Firenze, and on 14 September 1485 he saw Ezio kill a few guards to help Antonio de Magianis' thieves take over their positions to help rescue Doge Giovanni Mocenigo. Ezio pursued Martello as he tried to run, and Ezio leapt at him with his hidden blades drawn, killing him.
