Ii Sanemasa (11-) was the daimyo of the Ii clan from 1180 until his death. The son of Ii Yasutomi, he was forced by Minamoto Yoritomo to become a vassal after his father was slain in battle. Sanemasa ruled the Ii under the thumb of the Kamakura Minamoto, but when the Kiso Minamoto declared war on him, the Kamakura abandoned him.
