
Iffu Hamdan (2 June 1925-16 July 1958) was a FLN leader during the Algerian War.
Biography[]
Iffu Hamdan was born on 2 June 1925 in Dar El Beida, French Algeria to a Sunni Muslim family. Hamdan was involved in the Algerian nationalist movement after World War II, and he was one of the leaders of the FLN in the Algiers metro area. On 16 July 1958, Hamdan was killed by the French Army during the Battle of Algiers during the Algerian War, shot in a raid on his flat.
