Ibragimkhalil Daudov (11 November 1960-14 February 2012), also known as Emir Salikh, was the leader of Vilayat Dagestan from 9 May 2011 to 14 February 2014, succeeding Israpil Velijanov and preceding Rustam Asildarov.
Biography[]
Ibragimkhalil Daudov was born on 11 November 1960 in Dagestan RSFSR in the Soviet Union (present-day Dagestan, Russia). In 2008 he joined Vilayat Dagestan, a group of freedom fighters seeking to establish an Islamic state in Dagestan. He was arrested in Azerbaijan for possession of weapons before returning home under surveillance, and in 2009 he sent his wife and another woman to Moscow to carry out a suicide attack on people celebrating New Year's Eve. However, their bombs prematurely detonated, killing them both. On 10 February 2012, Daudov escaped a Russian attack on his house near Gurbuki, but he later died in the river of exposure. All three of his sons had been killed between 2009 and 2012, with Magamedhabib Daudov dying in the operation in which Daudov died.
