
Ibn Noori (1153-1225) was an Islamic scholar from Damascus.
Biography[]
Ibn Noori was born in 1153 to a Sunni Muslim Levantine family in Damascus (present-day Syria), and he became a scholar of the Quran. Ibn Noori was one of several scholars who was hosted by the rulers of Damascus, and he travelled with his companions Ibn Muhajir, Ibn Maa'iz, and Ibn Mukarram to the city in 1191, among other times.
