Ibn Ma'iz (1162-1209) was an Islamic scholar.
Biography[]
Ibn Ma'iz was born to an Afro-Jordanian family in 1162 in Kerak, and he became an Islamic scholar. He travelled to Damascus with companions Ibn Noori, Ibn Muhajir, and Ibn Mukarram several times, and in 1191 he entered the city with them and Altair Ibn-La'Ahad, who hid amongst them.
