Ibak Khan

Ibak Khan (died 1495) was Khan of Sibir from 1468 to 1495, succeeding Abu'l-Khayr Khan and preceding Mamuq.

Biography[]

Sayyid Ibrahim Khan was the son of Mahmudaq, and he seized power in Sibir with the help of the Nogais and became "Ibak Khan." He allied with the Nogais against Ahmed Khan bin Kuchuk, and he and Yamgurchi killed Ahmed Khan on 6 January 1481 after the Great Stand on the Ugra River. He died in 1495.
