
Huntley Nowel Spaulding (30 October 1869-14 November 1955) was the Republican Governor of New Hampshire from 6 January 1927 to 3 January 1929, succeeding John Gilbert Winant and preceding Charles W. Tobey.
Biography[]
Huntley Nowel Spaulding was born in Townsend, Massachusetts in 1869, the brother of Rolland H. Spaulding. He worked for his family milling business in Rochester, New Hampshire before entering politics as a Republican, and he served as President of the State Board of Education from 1921 to 1926 and Governor from 1927 to 1929. He died in 1955.
