Hung Cao was a US Navy veteran and the Republican nominee for VA-10 during the 2022 US House of Representatives elections, challenging Democratic incumbent Jennifer Wexton. He supported a full abortion ban, compared abortion access to the Holocaust, opposed protections for LGBT youth, supported the 2021 United States coup d'etat attempt, and opposed gun control.
